Jack R. Hott is Principal and owner of Sourcing Outcomes & Solutions LLC, a small veteran-owned company, providing professional training, publishing and consulting services to government contractors on subcontracting and other contract administration issues.
Mr. Hott’s teaching and educational background includes The Air Force Institute of Technology where he was an Assistant Professor of Acquisition Management. Also, he served as adjunct facility at Tarkio College teaching undergraduate management courses. He has authored numerous course materials, articles and research papers on topics ranging from application of depreciation methods for government contractors, Contractor Purchasing System Review, to the role of minority business enterprises as defense subcontractors. He is the recipient of The Charles J. Delaney Memorial Award for most outstanding articles in Contract Magazine. He is a frequent presenter on subjects relating to subcontract management, government compliance and other contract management subjects.

He is an NCMA Fellow, Lifetime Certified Professional Contract Manager, Lifetime Certified Federal Contract Manager and past NCMA National Vice-President and Treasurer. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bowling Green State University Alumni Association, and a Life Member of The American Legion and the Military Officers Association of America.

Mr. Hott holds a bachelor degree from Bowling Green State University, a Masters in Public Administration from The University of Oklahoma, and an MBA from Bowling Green State University. He is a retired U.S. Air Force officer with multiple acquisition related assignments. He has extensive industry experience in subcontract and purchasing management, compliance, procedure writing and business system integration.
