Subcontracting 101
In the premier of the ScMI Webinar series, we will start with the basics – what are the key issues in dealing with subcontractors and the subcontracting process under publically funded contracts? Included in the discussion will be applicable law, source selection, make-or-buy decisions, types of arrangements, flow down requirements, and maintaining quality assurance with subcontractors. With subcontractors performing so much of the work in any prime contract, proper care and feeding (a/k/a subcontract management) must be given a priority in prime contract management.
