Volumes have been written about the Government and Prime Contractor relationship, but not enough real attention has been paid to the Prime-Subcontractor relationship and its effects on the outcomes of a publicly-funded contract. Too often the acquisition process is undermined by adversarial relationships. We can no longer afford to do business in this manner. This webinar will discuss how communication is an essential component to promote teamwork throughout the acquisition process before contract performance is negatively impacted. The discussion will include topics such as:
· Clarifying Roles and responsibilities; Buyer role, Buyer Tech Rep role, subcontractor contract mgr. role, subcontractor tech/project lead role
· Improving Teaming arrangements and what the subcontractor can bring to the team
· Ensuring Expectations are understood prior to the start of performance
