In the 1990’s the Government made a big breakthrough in contracting/subcontracting when it added commercial item contracting to the FAR. Two decades later the use of this valuable tool hasn’t fully emerged as originally envisioned. This webinar will look at how commercial items are defined and some of the challenges faced by subcontract managers charged with the execution of the FAR 52.244-6 requirement to maximize use of commercial items at all tiers in their subcontracts and purchase orders.
Each webinar is 60 minutes and provides 1 CPE (Continuing Professional Education unit)
